Review: Had this for 2 1/2 years now. Yes, it's not the latest tech, but the basic functionality of this phone doesn't go out of date quickly. Battery Life The batter charging process has always been slow taking 1/2 day to a day to charge and then may last a week or two whilst idling. Particularly as this basic design cannot consume much power - it seems the batteries in this do not have the run times comparable to those in the "big brand" phones. But after 2 1/2 years, after a full charge it just lasts hours while idling. Its almost useless for its intended purpose now. Battery Charging There's no power light or indication of power on the outside of the phone, this is because the clamshell has to be closed to fit in to the charger, also the screen cannot be viewed. Hence its not possible to check that its either has power and is charging and also no indication to show its completed charging - an extremely poor design, it shows that not much time was devoted to product development. Usage There's no indication of which button to push to power it up, (the phone hang up icon button is the one to use), but its not obvious. As for the emergency button on the back of the phone, its not labelled as to what it does , see a theme developing here! To Sum up Love the clamshell design, the functionality of ending the call by folding the two halves, love the big buttons, but the rest is poor. For such a simple phone, they've managed to get it so wrong.
